Glovo continues to deliver everything during this period, but announces a series of safety measures for its customers, couriers and partners, in response to the current situation in Romania regarding the coronavirus.
Starting from minimizing the direct contact and increasing the hygiene and protection measures, one of the measures that Glovo took to protect all involved in the delivery was the removal of the signature at the end of the transaction.
At the same time, the company recommends that all customers use the card payment, directly in the application; and if the situation requires, cash payments will be removed for a period.
Furthermore, Glovo closes deliveries and order pick-ups to areas with high risk of contamination – infectious and quarantined hospitals, hotels, shopping centers, offices, etc.
Among measures the company has adopted in order to prevent contamination and the spread of the virus, there are hygiene measures for everyone involved in orders handling, from couriers to restaurants, as well as making available the related protective equipment (disinfectant), masks and gloves.
