Given the epidemiological danger posed by the COVID-19 virus and taking into account the decisions made in the last days by the National Committee for Special Emergency Situations, the Romanian Football Federation has decided to suspend all competitions until March 31, 2020.
Therefore, the matches in Liga 1, Liga 2, Liga 3, women’s Liga 1, women’s Liga 2, women’s Liga 3, Liga 1 Futsal, Liga 2 Futsal and competitions at county level will be postponed until March 31.
Depending on the evolution of the situation at national level, this decision can withstand changes. The decision comes after two days ago the FRF decided to suspend all competitions for children and juniors, and on Wednesday, March 11, the final tournament of the Romanian Futsal Cup was postponed.
Even if the matches were played with the gates closed, FRF considers that the movement of teams and staff is a high risk.
